SHAPING SANTA CRUZ COUNTY SINCE 1908

lb-tpw After starting his career with the Southern Pacific Railroad expansion projects throughout western California, in 1908 Lloyd Bowman begins his civil engineering and land surveying practice in Santa Cruz.

 Tom Polk Williams, Jr. graduates from UC and is hired as a civil engineer by Arnold Baldwin, a private engineer and soon-to-be appointed County Surveyor for Santa Cruz County Department of Public Works

 Bowman & Williams continues to serve homeowners, institutional, corporate and public clients throughout Santa Cruz County and the San Francisco Bay Area.

 

 

Established in 1945, the varied professional experience of Bowman & Williams personnel form an outstanding background. This enables our organization to provide an effective design and evaluation service capable of meeting the civil engineering and surveying requirements of a broad range of public or private projects. Each contract that we undertake receives the personal attention of a principal member of Bowman & Williams.
Our projects range in size from residential to large public infrastructure improvements. While a multitude of smaller projects are not mentioned, they are equally important and constitute a significant part of our business. In today’s climate of active community involvement, Bowman & Williams is consistently responsive to all critical issues including; environmental permitting, neighborhood impacts, and budgetary constraints.
